To ensure you can find what you are looking for quickly, the following information explains how to use the directory. 

Quick link sections

On the homepage we have created sections that group together related services on a range of different topics. You can click on each section to browse related directory listings.

Search bar

The search bar lets you search any combination of categories, keywords, and locations. The search results will then show you the most relevant sections or individual listings depending on your search term. 

Listings

Listings on the Stockton Information Directory will provide you with information on services and organisations such as:

• opening times
• location
• contact details
• service details
• organisation details
• introduction of what the service provides

Events

You can browse local events on the Stockton Information Directory to find what's on in the local area. If you are looking for a particular type of event, we recommend you use the filters provided to narrow your search, which are:

• location
• day of the week
• event type
• age range
• time of the day

Events calendar

You can use the events calendar to look at a specific date and see a list of events that are available on that day. 

Translating our directory

You can use Google Translate to translate any part of our directory into the language you need. 

It's completely free to use and works on any website. The best way to use it, is to add the Google Translate plug in to your browser.

It is important to note that although online translators can be used to translate individual words and phrases, they may not always be able to interpret the meaning of more complex information accurately. For these instances, we recommend using a professional translation service.
