Family Action: South Tees Perinatal Support Service
We provide emotional support to families where a parent is struggling with their emotional health or well-being from birth up to the child's 2nd birthday. <SEND>
The Perinatal Support Service is for parents who have, or are at significant risk of developing, mild to moderate mental health issues, such as anxiety and depression.
We provide support to parents by providing a Perinatal Coordinator or Practitioner who can offer emotional support and help to access services in your local community. We can support parents birth up until their baby's 2nd birthday.
We support families according to their needs and situation. We listen to individual family needs and provide emotional and practical support to improve outcomes for the whole family. This is undertaken via one to one support, therapeutic playgroups, access to Family Hubs and other specialist services.
